Refund Policy
Effective date: March 11, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to the Bamwor API (Pro and Enterprise plans). The Free plan does not involve any charges and is not covered by this policy.
1. Billing Cycle
Paid plans are billed monthly in USD. Your subscription renews automatically on the same day each month. You will be charged at the beginning of each billing period.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for subsequent periods.
- Your API key will be downgraded to the Free plan limits after the paid period ends.
- No data is deleted upon cancellation.
3. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Within 7 days of first payment: If you are unsatisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment. No questions asked.
- Service outage: If the API experiences extended downtime (more than 48 continuous hours) during your billing period, you are eligible for a prorated refund or credit for the affected period.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., double charge, charge after cancellation), we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Partial months of service after the 7-day initial period.
- Failure to use the API during a billing period.
- Account suspension due to violation of the API Terms of Service.
- Downgrade requests mid-cycle (you retain access until the end of the period).
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your API key.
- The reason for your refund request.
- The date of the charge in question.
We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
6. Enterprise Plans
Enterprise plans have custom billing terms agreed upon individually. Refund terms for Enterprise customers are governed by the specific agreement signed between the parties.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes via email.
